With spring arriving, it seems Northwest Arkansas has finally awakened from hibernation, and it’s about time!  Sure, I love snow as much as the next guy, but it’s the festivals and various events that cause NWA to thrive.  Believe me; spring is delivering this year.

War Eagle Craft Fair

On May 6th through the 8th, the War Eagle Craft Fair begins.  You’ll have the opportunity to meet a variety of craft men and women and see their different creations of watercolor and oil painting, folk art, pottery, wicker items, clothing, quilts, candles, and much more.  Don’t worry about leaving hungry.  There are an assortment of unique breakfasts, lunches, and dinners being served throughout the day.  Click here for more info.

University of Arkansas Graduation Ceremony

On May 14th, come celebrate with all the new graduates at the University of Arkansas.  If you don’t know anyone who is graduating, you can congratulate me as I receive my bachelors in marketing.  I’ll be the one in the black gown.

Comedian Ron White at Walton Arts Center

On May 25th and 26th, Ron “Tater Salad” White will be gracing Fayetteville with his presents at the Walton Arts Center.  Best known for his Blue Collar Comedy debut, this comedian also claims two Grammy nominations, a Gold Record, two of the top rated one-hour specials on Comedy Central, a New York Times Bestselling book, and a number of CDs and DVDs.  For more info, click here.

Wakarusa at Mulberry Mountain

On June 2nd through 5th, the annual Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival will be taking place at Mulberry Mountain.  This four day camping event features over 100 bands that will be performing non-stop.  This festival is great for music and nature lovers that just simply need a break from the stresses of life.  Click here for more info.

It would be a real shame to miss out on these awesome events just because you don’t have a place to stay.  Yeah, you could stay at an over crowded, boring hotel, OR you could check out our condo on 2130 Garland! It has everything from a queen size bed, a pull out sofa bed, towels, all your linens, plates, dishes, a stove, a microwave, and a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, an outdoor pool, and a flat screen television.  Also, this condo is only MINUTES away from Baum Stadium, the university, and Dickson Street!  Call for an appointment at (479) 442-9099 or visit our website at www.McNaughtonRealtors.com.
