That is all we hear in the news today. Someone, Everyone is wanting or hoping to get bailed out of there troubles.  When the dust settles at the end of the day the average homeowner didn't get a dime to help them with there troubles. Many homeowners find themselves in a no win situation. They cant make there mortgage payments and they cant sell the home because its not worth what they paid for it. Changes in the new first time home buyer’s tax credit are expected.   The previous version was a credit of $7,500 which the buyer was required to pay back.  That offer was set to expire in July 2009.

The latest information is that the new buyer tax credit will be $8,000 and will not require repayment.  The expiration for this offer will be Dec 1, 2009
