According to Mount Data Presentations, home sales volume for NW Arkansas in 2009 was $925,627,711 which is 3% higher than 2008!  35.3% of listed homes sold leaving 64.7% unsold.  The medium sales to list price was 97%.

You have great timing if you are ready to buy a home.  NW Arkansas home prices are the lowest since 2004-2005.   In addition there is an $8,000 tax credit for first time home buyer’s who purchase before April 30, 2010 and a $6,500 tax credit for other’s if you qualify.  Interest rates are some of the lowest in the last 30 years and there are a record number of homes for sale.

All of these factors coming together at the same time not only make it a buyer’s market but a GREAT buyer’s market.

At five minutes and six seconds after 4 pm on the 8th of July this year, the time and date will be:  04:05:06 07/08/09.  This will never happen again in our lifetime.  How cool is That?
